In 1999, Manchester City were 2-0 down on 90 minutes in a crucial Division Two Play-Off Final at Wembley. Defeat would have meant another season in the third tier of English football and it could have pushed the club over the edge into the abyss. But stoppage time goals from Kevin Horlock and Paul Dickov rescued the game – and the Blues went on to win on penalties.
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of that match, David J. Mooney has tracked down every member of the team that day – and the manager – to get their memories of that historic afternoon and to find out how their careers went after that game.
