David Mooney is a young broadcast journalist and writer based in the UK. He is experienced in presenting and reporting for radio, with a 2:1 in Journalism from the University of Central Lancashire. He is currently writing and reading news on Sunday mornings and is also a panellist and reporter on Blue Moon Live for 104.9 Imagine FM. He is also co-hosting The Brilliant_Show on 96.9 ALL FM.
He has written regular opinion columns for Football Fancast and keeps a blog of match reports on all of Manchester City’s competitive games. He has just finished writing one 365-word story a day for a year for his Three-Six-Five project and has just begun a short story project based on user-submitted titles. He is currently working on his first novel and has recently published his first Manchester City book, From Takeover To Trophy.
David is a self-confessed Twitter addict, a part-time water polo coach and he likes Matt Smith’s Doctor.
